The UK Scene

Apparently, despite the global financial crisis, some senior academics/scholars/analysts in the UK manage to get research funds to develop voodoo decision-making tools for handling severe uncertainty.

It seems that, in the UK, the effort to develop voodoo methodologies for decision-making under severe uncertainty is being extended to an area of expertise which deals with the severest uncertainty imaginable.

For indications are that models of local robustness are now being proposed to assess the robustness of decisions against the (truly) severe (deep) uncertainty surrounding climate change phenomena! This is the new frontier for voodoo decision-making in the UK.

Since our HQ is in Australia and at this stage we do not have active campaigners in the UK, scholars/academics/analysts in the UK who are concerned about the spread of voodoo decision theories there, are encouraged to join our campaign.
